The Opportunity:
The Intern will participate in designing and developing web-based enterprise software solutions. They work with a team of computer scientists on new product and application development as well as enhance, test and maintain existing systems. We are willing to work with students schedules. The position has opportunity for growth and potential to turn into full-time.
Requirements:
Proficiency with any Database system, knowledge of Database design and modeling , SQL, Web enabled applications on open source platforms, knowledge of web-architecture and technologies such as ASP, .NET, JSP, Java Beans, Java Servlets, PHP, Perl, VBScript or JavaScript, XML, DHTML is desirable.
Interns need to have a understanding of programming techniques in any programming language, and a sufficient understanding of technology concepts underlying a system. Proven track record in web-based application development will be considered a plus.
The ideal candidate will have a programming background and experience and be able to adapt quickly to AllofE's development methodology and component infrastructure.
Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- A degree in Computer Science or a junior/senior level student with a GPA of 3.0 and above in C.S major
- Relevant Web Development Experience and Background
- Be a Fast Learner
- Aptitude to learn and understand technical software products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good work ethic, time management and meeting work goals
