The Academic Platform includes curriculum, assessment, and staff development standards that match the state's standards and requirements for curriculum and school improvement.
Standardization The Academic Platform allows you to standardize your curriculum development processes and link course units and assessment questions to state Standards, Benchmarks, Indicators, and Scope and Sequence. Teachers can use the system to quickly access reference information such as Knowledge and Application Indicators for a subject area and grade.
Customization In addition to the preloaded state information, the Academic Platform is customizable to include your district and school standards, benchmarks and other goal information. You can maintain your existing course guide and curriculum map formats, information layouts, and terminology. Through Inservice's staff development tool, you can customize the professional development process to your existing approval process.
Integration The curriculum management, assessment tracking, and staff development tools integrate seamlessly with one another allowing you to share state Standards, Benchmarks, Indicators and other reference information across applications. The Academic Platform's cross referencing functionality provide an intuitive tool for integrating your curriculum and assessment information.
