Resource Management

FirmTrax is a comprehensive workflow management system that provides companies with an effective and efficient solution to plan, manage, and track time and expense related costs associated with projects, payroll, and billing. FirmTrax's modules and functionality give companies the ability to track a project from initiation to completion and billing while providing detailed reports and calculations on all time and expenses for each project task.

As an extremely powerful web-based resource management tool, FirmTrax gives organizations the power to track effectively project times, costs, resources, and expenses in a customized, highly integrated but completely flexible approach. This system offers several modules that will perform allocation and budgeting, time and expense tracking, a comprehensive ad-hoc MIS reporting system, and multi-level approval routing.

Project Planning and Management
     
Tasks   Creates extensive project plans including budgeting and resource allocation.  Manages an unlimited hierarchy of project tasks and activities. 
Assignment Defines project tasks and activities for each employee.  Manages employee user information through group,department,and team assignments.  Displays only assigned projects to each employee. 
Integration Imports existing projects and resources from MS Project.  Tracks time and costs associated with all internal and client projects.  Connects project values to timesheet and expense templates.
Milestones Tracks and graphs task percent completions.  Creates graphical representations of the project and task hierarchy.  Identifies milestones and percent completions based on project tasks and activities

Time and Expense Management
     
Linkage Manages time based on projects, billing, and payroll.  Manages timesheets and expenses directly linked to project plans.
Dropdown Management Allows administrators to manage project, task, and client dropdowns for timesheets.  Also able to provide certain end users with the ability to create their own custom values.
Templates Administers multiple timesheet, expense and project templates based on separate groups of users.   Creates unlimited daily, weekly, monthly, semi-monthly, and biweekly timesheet templates.  Defines template fields and field types such as dropdown or text fields  
Approval Automates the approval process for timesheets and expenses.  Routes approvals simultaneously or sequentially to each approver. 

MIS Reporting
     
Integrated Reports Monitors and reports on projects, timesheet recording, time analysis, individual and team productivity, and client billing.  Creates ad hoc timesheet and expense history, adjustment, and approval reports.  Tracks project statuses and resources through the various project view reports.  Compares actual vs. budgeted time and expenses through the integrated reports. 
User Reports Manages user information with the personnel report.  Assigns qualified users the ability to view saved reports.
Saving & Exporting Exports reports to Excel.  Saves reports for future reference. 

Invoicing and Billing
     
Cost Collection Collects time, expense and rate information for quick and easy invoicing.  Matches billable time and expenses with associated clients.
Accounting Tracks whether billable costs have been invoiced.  Tracks billable and non-billable time and expenses for each project related task.  Integrates with existing accounting systems.
Projects Invoices customers for time and expenses related to a project that have been pre-designated as billable.
