How WISE IEP Works

With built-in logic that links each student's special considerations to required forms such as transition service needs, group evaluations, etc., IEP managers no longer have to hunt for which forms are and are not required. Based upon the selections made when defining special considerations, the WISE IEP system automatically connects any additional required forms to the student's IEP. Managers can rest assured that all required forms have been completed.

Student Management

IEP managers only have access to manage their own students. The system manages all student demographic, resident school, and attending school information.

Importing Student Information: WISE IEP supports custom functionality for importing in student information from your existing student management system such as SASI.

Assigning Students to Teachers: Each teacher can be assigned management of only their students.  This means that when they login to the system they only see information for their students.

Student Demographics: WISE IEP tracks student demographic information to use in reporting such as the student's attending school, residence school, and ethnic background.

IEP Management

WISE IEP allows teachers to maintain multiple IEP's for each student. The system keeps track of the current IEP and allows managers to view all past IEP's for a student.

Draft IEP:  At the end of each school year, the teacher can get started on the next year's IEP for the student without affecting the current IEP.

Current IEP:  The current IEP is the currently active IEP that the teacher manages throughout the school year.

Archived IEP's:  WISE IEP gives teachers archival functionality for IEP's that they are no longer working on.  This allows them to access historical information on a student.

Baselines, Goals and Benchmarks

WISE IEP can track an infinite number of baselines, goals, and benchmarks for each student. The system defines available goals and benchmarks based on the baseline that is selected.

Percent Attainment: Track the percent attainment required for each goal defined for a student.

Schedule: Define the schedule for attaining the goal such as within one school year, six weeks, 12 weeks, etc.

Measurement: Define how the attainment of the goal will be measured such as scoring guides, class activities, class participation, assignments, and tests.

Ease of Use

WISE IEP was designed by teachers for teachers.  AllofE works directly with teachers involved in the IEP process to create a system that makes their jobs easier.  The system design philosophy is based upon generating immediate value for the teachers who rely on it the most.

User Friendly: User interfaces are intuitively designed for the quickest data entry.  And data entry screens closely match the final printed IEP.

IEP Process: WISE IEP includes a flexible workflow process so that users can complete each IEP form at their own pace and in any order.

Anywhere Anytime Access: The web based system allows teachers to access information anytime and from anywhere.

IEP Layout:  The tabbed layout allows users to easily find the forms and information they need in no time at all.

Security

WISE IEP is equipped with a comprehensive security structure, which ensures that student information is being accessed only by those who should have access to it. With a system based around user permissions, you have complete control over the organization and access rights of the users in your system.

Security: Comprehensive multi-level security structure with user ID and password authentication that assigns access to system functions and data on a per user basis.

Student Access Control: Control access to every student through object level permission settings that control who views, deletes, updates, or prints what information.

User Access Control: Control what users have what privileges in the system by ensuring that users only have access to the functionality they need.

User Administration: Manage individual user settings or create user groups to maintain a broader control over your system users.

Progress Reporting

WISE IEP provides a detailed baseline, goal, and benchmark report that allows managers to define performance levels, statuses, and completion dates for each goal and benchmark.

IEP Meeting Management: Manages IEP meeting with dates, attendees, roles of the attendees and the ability to print a meeting report for each attendee to sign.

IEP Reports: Generates a comprehensive IEP Report and allows the teacher to define the report as an Initial, Review or Draft report.

Progress Reports: Creates a progress report of baselines, benchmarks and goals for the student where the teacher can enter the level of progress met, dates and notes.
