TheLessonPlanBook integrates common core standards into lesson templates

2-4-2011
TheLessonPlanBook recently upgraded its lesson plan templates to integrate Common Core State Standards for K-12 Communication Arts and Mathematics. The new public school standards released in late 2010 are designed to set a national bar for what students in any state should know when they graduate from high school.
Users can now align core standards for K-12 Communication Arts and Mathematics to any current or new lesson plans. The user-friendly core standards tool located on the pre-made lesson templates allow users to select standards based or subject area, grade level, key points and more. About Common Core State Standards
The Common Core State Standards Initiative is a state-led effort coordinated by the National Governors Association Center for Best Practices (NGA Center) and the Council of Chief State School Officers (CCSSO). The standards were developed in collaboration with teachers, school administrators, and experts, to provide a clear and consistent framework to prepare our children for college and the workforce.
