Learner Objectives: Allows the teacher to align a lesson plan with the specific course objectives that the lesson addresses.

Organized Framework for Instruction

The Lesson Plan Book offers a structured, yet flexible, framework for teachers to manage their lesson plans and schedules.   It helps them to work through the planning process with an organized and standardized layout.

Setting up is easy - because you don't have to! With our full hosting option, AllofE will host your system but allow you to access it just as if it were on your district's servers. No new software is needed. All you have to do is sign up, go online, and log in.

Intuitive Interface: Completing tasks with Lesson Plan Book is a snap. A point and click interface and familiar calendar format allow teachers to quickly and easily copy over their existing lesson plans.

Multiple Lesson Templates: Lesson Plan Book comes with several premade lesson plan templates to help structure lesson plans. The templates include helpful details such as materials needed, guiding questions, resources, and more.

Flexible Design: While the system comes with lesson plan templates to use, it gives teachers the freedom to pick their lesson layout based on the needs of their classroom.

Individualized Instruction

The Lesson Plan Book supports tailoring lessons to student groups and individual students.  A teacher can create multiple versions of a lesson based on the specific needs of each class.

Lesson Categories: Lesson categories allow teachers to quickly and easily categorize lessons so that they can be searched by subject area, grade, course, level of difficulty, etc.

Learner Based Customization: A teacher can either create multiple versions of a lesson plan for each learner group or can identify alternative processes and ideas within one lesson.

Detailed Planning: The lesson templates provide a framework for the teacher to define assessments, essential questions, related vocabulary, additional activities, and other information for each lesson.

User Friendly e-Tools

The Lesson Plan Book comes with many user friendly e-Tools to make the teacher's job much easier.  It allows teachers manage, search, copy, print and more from both a monthly calendar view and a detailed list view.

Advanced Search: Teachers can search their own lesson plans, as well as shared and public lessons, with Lesson Plan Book's advanced search tool, which facilitates search by date range, grade level, subject area, and more.

Lesson Rollover: Teachers can rollover lessons from one year to another without having to reenter them.

Sharing and Copying: The system provides teachers with the ability to share lessons with other teachers and substitutes.  They can then copy lessons that have been shared by other teachers.

Advanced Scheduling: The Lesson Plan Book comes with an advanced scheduling interface that allows a teacher to schedule a lesson across multiple days or periodically such as once a week, once a month, etc.

Easy Exporting: You can export your lesson plans to calendar programs like iCal and Outlook, or you can export them to PDF format for easy printing or e-mailing.

Security

Lesson Plan Book's comprehensive security system ensures that teachers only have access to their own lesson plan data. The management feature allows teachers to create lesson plans and then give other teachers the ability to view them.

For Teachers: Teachers only have access to their lesson plans and ones that have been shared with them by other teachers.  They have the ability to allow other teachers to view their lessons but not update them.

For Administrators: Administrators are able to search lesson plans for curriculum and standard alignment as well as tracking classroom instruction.
